Providers of vocational training in the UK must usually have an entry level teaching qualification as a minimum in order to teach regulated qualifications, such as First Aid, Health & Safety and Manual Handling.

This qualification is for those who assess in a work environment and a non-work environment.

This qualification is aimed at those who lead a team of internal quality assurers who plan, allocate and monitor the IQA at an organisation as part of their role at an assessment centre or other organisation.
